STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY OF MUSIC AT THE UNIVERSITY OF EAST SARAJEVO ACHIEVED SUCCESS AT THE WORLD ACCORDION CUP (74th Coupe Mondiale)

At the World Accordion Cup (74^th Coupe Mondiale), organized by the World Confederation of Accordionists (Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes – CIA), held in Munich (Germany), from 13-17. October 2021, Bosnia and Herzegovina was represented by students of the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo in two categories.

Edvin Halilović, student of the 4^th year of the Accordion Department, in the class of Rade Radović, MA, prof., won 3^rd place in the Masters category at the World Cup.

Vehbija Hodžić, student of the 3^rd year of the Accordion Department, in the class of Danijela Gazdić, MA, prof., won 5th place in the Senior category at the World Cup.

A member of the expert jury at the 74^th World Accordion Cup in front of the UIS Academy of Music, was prof. Danijela Gazdić, MA.

At the General Assembly of the Congress of Accordionists held on this occasion, the Academy of Music at the University of East Sarajevo became a member of the World Confederation of Accordionists (Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes – CIA), continuing with activities aimed at promoting and advancing world academic accordion music.
